BODHISATTVA SCA

Sire: Al Kha-zar (imp USA) Dam: I-Candy
2010 grey colt (born chestnut)

In Buddhism, the term “Bodhisattva” is the name given to anyone who is motivated by compassion and who dedicates their lives to the ultimate welfare of all living beings. We reserved this special name for Candy’s deserving first born. Bodhisattva SCA is deserving of his name as, in addition to his sweet and human-oriented nature, we strongly believe that with his world-class type, conformation, and pedigree, he has the ability (as a sire and show horse) to have an incredible impact on the Arabian Industry in Australia and across the world. We also believe that with his loving nature, he will have a huge impact on the lives of anyone else who meets with this exceptional young colt and future sire.

Bodhisattva SCA is the epitome of the Arabian Standard of Excellence. He is a classic “European type”, with an extremely dry, short face, kind dark eyes, and short tippy ears. He is pretty, yet masculine; sweet, yet showy. Bodhisattva SCA has a lovely top line, short back, sloping shoulder, and muscular hindquarters that power his suspended, graceful, and seemingly effortless movement. With these traits, together with his very correct legs and feet, Bodhi is the total package and will be extremely competitive in any show ring throughout the world.

Bodhisattva SCA is sired by the recently imported straight Egyptian stallion Al Kha-zar and the elegant and powerful moving I-Candy that has seen a beautiful cross of type, movement and show presence evolve in this young outstanding future sire.
