Southern Cross Arabians are happy to report , that Soul Debut Sca has been doing well in quarantine, in preparation for his exportation. Soul Debut Sca will be embarking on exciting new adventure’s with new owners Adam and Lyiana of Malaysia.
Soul Debut Sca will be flying out of Australia on the 12th December, all involved are eagerly awaiting his safe arrival to his new home with adam and lyianna and will be sure to keep everyone up to date with his progress and future endeavours.
Exciting plans have been put in place for this outstanding young colt and look forward to sharing his future with you.

The team at Southern Cross Arabians are gearing up for what should be an exciting Arabian sprint racing season in Mebourne, Australia. Southern Cross will proudly be represented again by our mare Chardonnay Park Rasheeka.
Rasheeka will race on 27th January at Mooney Valley as part of the prestigious Ladies IFAHR Cup, that we are honoured to be apart of. She will then race the following week on Saturday 4th February, 2012 at Caulfield for the inaugural Shadwell Mile. We are grateful to the generous sponsors of both races: Shadwell Stud and HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
We invite all Arabian enthusiast’s and racing fans to come along to Caulfield and join the team at Southern Cross in cheering home Rasheeka past the winning post!

Southern Cross congratulates our friends Adam bin Asmuni and Lyiana binti Roslee from Malaysia on the purchase of Soul Debut SCA. Adam and Lyiana purchased N. Primadonah earlier this year and they have been so impressed with her training and endurance capabilities, they were keen on visiting Australia to acquire another stellar SCA horse. We were honoured that Adam and Lyiana flew to Australia for the day to meet Soul Debut and the other Southern Cross horses. They were extremely impressed with our horses, training facilities, and farm. On first meeting with Soul Debut SCA, they were taken aback with his beauty, presence, and temperament. These qualities, along with his training, Adam and Lyiana instantly decided they could not leave the farm without securing his purchase for their future endevours. As well as meeting our horses, we all enjoyed a trail ride through the Australian bush, followed by a lovely lunch together and a tour of the highlights of Melbourne.

Chardonnay Park Rasheeka and Michelle competed very successfully in their first 40km endurance ride. They crossed the line equal first (just over minimum time for novice) with sensational vet scores for heart rate, metabolics, and gait. We look forward to sharing their success as they conquer longer rides. We wish them all the best in their endeavour to compete in the 2012 Tom Qulity (160km) or Shazada (400km) rides.

Southern Cross are extremely proud to announce the sale of N.Primadonah who will make her way to Malaysia with new owners Adam bin Asmuni and Lyiana binti Roslee. The Southern Cross team wish them the greatest success in all future endeavours with this outstanding young mare. Already an A class multi champion led filly we are all eager to see Primadonah begin her endurance campaign with her new owners.

The team at Southern Cross were extremely proud to enter our crabbet-bred mare “Chardonnay Park Rasheeka” in the prestigious sprint race, the Shadwell Arabian Mile at Caulfield Race Course. Rasheeka was the only mare of an impressive field of runners. She displayed remarkable athleticism, leading for most of the race, and finshed a gallant 4th. The Shadwell Mile was a sensational promotion for the Arabian horse in Australia. It was an exciting day for us at Southern Cross and we are looking forward to the next sprint racing season! N. Primadonah has foaled a striking colt, who is the mirror image of his legendary Australian Champion sire Kiss and Tell (x Simeon Shai). This foal is available for sale alone or as an incredible package with his multi-A-class champion dam. Shahzar has been sold to Peter Cooke of Imoan Arabians in Victoria, Australia, where he will be campaigned under saddle. Peter has also purchased Shahzar’s frozen semen to cover his own mares and stand him at public stud. Southern Cross Arabians wishes Peter a successful performance career with this beautiful gelding. We anxiously await Shahzar’s results as a performance horse and as an influential sire.

Southern Cross Arabians proudly showcased our beautiful filly N.Georgia along with the exciting gelding Shahzar at the 2009 Australian Championships in Melbourne, Australia. We were very proud of both horses, with Shahazar being awarded Top 10 Gelding (3/4 years), and Georgia being awarded Top 10 Filly (yearling, 2/3 years, shown by an amateur). This was Southern Cross' first Australian Championships and made for a very exciting event.

Southern Cross Arabians are proud to launch our new website. We sincerely thank who kindly donated this website package, with all proceeds going to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. Southern Cross Arabians were proud to purchase the amazing services of while simultaneously helping the victims of the devastating bushfires in Victoria, Australia. This was a particularly rewarding contribution, as the fires came within approximately 10km from our stud and affected many Arabian horse studs within the region. All of us at Southern Cross Arabians continue to send our thoughts and prayers to those who experienced the enormity of this disaster.
